Seongsan Ilchulbong
Seongsan Ilchulbong is a tuff cone about 180 metres high on the eastern tip of Jeju, in Seongsan, Seogwipo, formed some 5,000 years ago by an eruption in shallow sea. A stairway climbs to the rim of its bowl-shaped crater, and its layered cliffs, joined to the island by a sand bar, are part of a UNESCO World Heritage site.
