Kāʻanapali Beach

Kāʻanapali Beach runs for about 4 km along West Maui, roughly 23 km from Kahului, in front of a resort area developed from the 1960s. At its northern end rises Puʻu Kekaʻa, Black Rock, a lava headland where snorkellers find reef fish and turtles and where a torch-lighting and cliff dive take place at sunset. The islands of Lānaʻi and Molokaʻi lie across the channel.
