Festetics Palace

Festetics Palace is a Baroque country house in Keszthely, begun by Count Kristóf Festetics in 1745 and enlarged over more than a century, most recently in the 1880s to designs by Viktor Rumpelmayer. One of Hungary's three largest country houses, it has housed the Helikon Palace Museum since 1974, with its library wing and period interiors open to visitors.
