Railay Beach

Railay is a small peninsula between Krabi Town and Ao Nang, cut off from the mainland by limestone cliffs and reached only by boat. Its four areas are West Railay, East Railay, Phra Nang and Ton Sai, with sandy beaches below karst walls that draw rock climbers; tourism here began with backpackers in the 1970s.
