Tiger Cave Temple

Tiger Cave Temple, Wat Tham Suea, is a Buddhist forest monastery near Krabi Town, founded in 1975 by the meditation monk Ajahn Jumnean in a cave where tiger paw prints are said to mark the rock. A staircase of 1,260 steps climbs a limestone peak to a golden seated Buddha at 278 metres, with views over Krabi and the coast.
