Melasti Beach

Melasti Beach is a white-sand beach at Ungasan on the southern coast of the Bukit peninsula, south of Kuta, lying below limestone cliffs some 70 metres high. At low tide a flat reef is exposed in front of the sand, and the shore is also used for the Melasti ceremony, a Balinese Hindu purification rite held at the sea.
