Uluwatu Temple

Uluwatu Temple is a Balinese Hindu sea temple on the edge of a 70-metre cliff at the south-western tip of the Bukit peninsula, south of Kuta. Expanded by the sage Empu Kuturan in the 11th century, it is one of Bali's nine directional temples. Paths run along the cliff top past the shrines, and a Kecak dance is staged beside it in the evening.
