St. Barbara's Church is a Gothic church in Kutná Hora dedicated to the patron saint of miners, begun in 1388 and completed only in 1905. Matěj Rejsek and Benedikt Rejt continued the work after 1481; its tent-shaped triple roof and flying buttresses rise above the valley, and inside are medieval frescoes of the silver-mining town.

The Church of the Assumption of Our Lady and Saint John the Baptist in Sedlec, part of Kutná Hora, was built around 1300 for the Cistercian abbey as the first church in Bohemia modelled on French Gothic cathedrals. Burnt by the Hussites in 1421, it was restored in 1700–1708, largely by Jan Blažej Santini-Aichel in his Baroque Gothic style.
