Artigas Gardens

The Artigas Gardens in La Pobla de Lillet were designed by Antoni Gaudí in 1905–1906 for the textile manufacturer Joan Artigas, in thanks for his hospitality while Gaudí worked on the nearby Catllaràs chalet. Along the Llobregat river, a path leads over stone bridges and arches, past fountains and a grotto. Largely abandoned by 1971, the gardens were restored in 1992.
