La Spezia Cathedral

La Spezia Cathedral, dedicated to Christ the King, is the seat of the Diocese of La Spezia-Sarzana-Brugnato. It was built between 1956 and 1975 to a design by the Rationalist architect Adalberto Libera, on a hilltop cleared to link the old town with the eastern districts. Its large circular hall stands on Piazza Europa.
