Lackenbach Castle

Lackenbach Castle is a moated Renaissance manor on the south-eastern edge of Lackenbach in central Burgenland, built from 1548 to 1552 under Erasmus Teufel and owned by the Esterházy family since 1618. Its two-storey main wing and long farm buildings now house a nature museum and exhibitions on the castle's history and courtly hunting, with a café and garden.
