St. Joseph's Church

St. Joseph's Church is a concrete church in Le Havre designed by Auguste Perret and built from 1951 to 1957 as part of the city's post-war reconstruction, also serving as a memorial to the civilians killed in 1944. Its 107-metre octagonal lantern tower holds 12,768 pieces of coloured glass by Marguerite Huré, which light the centrally planned interior.
