Carrières des Lumières

Carrières des Lumières is a former limestone quarry in the Val d'Enfer below Les Baux-de-Provence, worked until 1935 and used by Jean Cocteau as a film set in 1959. Since 2012 Culturespaces has projected digital exhibitions set to music on its walls, pillars and floors, on painters such as Picasso, Matisse and Frida Kahlo.
