Prešeren Square

Prešeren Square is the central square of Ljubljana, part of the old town's pedestrian zone at the head of the Triple Bridge. It is named after the poet France Prešeren, whose 1905 monument stands on it, and is lined by the pink Franciscan Church and Secession-era buildings; Edvard Ravnikar gave it its circular paving in 1987–88.
