Central Museum of Textiles

The Central Museum of Textiles occupies Ludwik Geyer's White Factory on Piotrkowska Street, where Łódź's first mechanised cotton spinning and weaving mill started. Founded in 1959, it shows textile machines in motion, industrial fabrics, fashion and contemporary textile art, and runs an open-air area of wooden buildings from the Łódź region.
