Łódź Zoo

Łódź Zoo opened in 1938 beside the city's largest park and covers about 16 hectares. In 2022 it added the Orientarium, a large indoor complex devoted to South-East Asia, where elephants, orangutans and gharials are seen from underwater, ground-level and elevated walkways; ticket holders also visit the outdoor enclosures and eight heated pavilions.
