Rigi

The Rigi is a mountain massif between Lake Lucerne, Lake Zug and Lake Lauerz, east of Lucerne. Cogwheel railways from Vitznau and Arth-Goldau run up to Rigi Kulm, the 1,797-metre main summit in the canton of Schwyz, where a hotel has stood since 1816; a cable car also climbs from Weggis to Rigi Kaltbad, a base for walks.
