Coves dels Hams

The Coves dels Hams are caves near Porto Cristo, discovered in 1905 by Pedro Caldentey and lit with electricity from 1910. They are named after hook-shaped formations, 'hams' in Mallorcan; the guided route passes an underground lake called the Sea of Venice, where a short music and light show is held.
