Technoseum

The Technoseum is a technology museum in Mannheim built between 1982 and 1990 to the design of architect Ingeborg Kühler, tracing industrialisation in south-west Germany from its beginnings to the present. Exhibits include historic machinery, a working steam train, a seasonal narrow-gauge railway, and a full-scale replica of the 1929 Opel RAK.1 rocket-plane.
