Castello della Manta

Castello della Manta is a castle above the village of Manta near Saluzzo, grown from a 12th-century fortress into a residence of the Saluzzo della Manta family. Its Baronial Hall holds a Late Gothic fresco cycle of about 1420 showing the Nine Worthies, the Nine Heroines and the Fountain of Youth. The FAI has owned it since 1985.
