Centre Pompidou-Metz
The Centre Pompidou-Metz is the regional branch of the Centre Pompidou in Paris, opened in 2010 and showing exhibitions drawn largely from the French national collection of modern art. Shigeru Ban and Jean de Gastines designed the building: three long galleries cross under a hexagonal roof of laminated timber and white membrane, around a 77 m spire.
