Belfry of Mons

The Belfry of Mons is an 87-metre Baroque tower built from 1662 to 1669 to designs by Louis Ledoux, in the castle park at the top of the town. It is the only Baroque belfry in Belgium, part of the UNESCO-listed Belfries of Belgium and France, and holds a 49-bell carillon; visits start at the Maison des Patrimoines UNESCO at its foot.
