Mundaneum

The Mundaneum is an archive centre and exhibition space in Mons, housed since 1993 in an Art Deco former cooperative department store. It keeps the collections of Paul Otlet and Henri La Fontaine, who set out from 1895 to classify all published knowledge; their card index, the Universal Bibliographic Repertory, is on UNESCO's Memory of the World register.
