Maison Van Gogh

Maison Van Gogh is the miner's house in Cuesmes, part of Mons, where Vincent van Gogh lodged in 1880 while working as a lay preacher in the Borinage coalfield, and where he decided to become an artist. A visitor pavilion, reproductions of his Borinage drawings, a facsimile letter and a reconstructed interior present his stay.
