Church of San Biagio
San Biagio is a Renaissance pilgrimage church on open ground below Montepulciano, built in travertine from 1518 to a design by Antonio da Sangallo the Elder after a fresco of the Madonna was said to have moved its eyes. It has a Greek-cross plan with a central dome and two bell towers, only one of them finished, and faces a canonica with loggias from about 1550.
