Mount Royal Park

Mount Royal Park covers the wooded mountain west of downtown Montreal. It was designed by Frederick Law Olmsted and inaugurated in 1876. Paths lead through the forest to Beaver Lake and to the Kondiaronk Belvedere, a terrace beside the Mount Royal Chalet with a view over the city's skyline and the Saint Lawrence River.
