Sansevero Chapel
The Sansevero Chapel is the burial chapel of the di Sangro princes near San Domenico Maggiore, founded in 1590 and remodelled in the 18th century by Raimondo di Sangro. It holds Giuseppe Sanmartino's marble Veiled Christ of 1753, allegorical statues such as Antonio Corradini's Modesty, and two anatomical models of the human circulatory system.
