Old Fort Niagara

Old Fort Niagara stands in Youngstown, about 19 km north of Niagara Falls, where the Niagara River flows into Lake Ontario. Its stone French Castle dates from 1726, and the fort changed hands between France, Britain and the United States in the 18th century and the War of 1812; it is now a museum with costumed demonstrations.
