Musée Marc Chagall
The Musée national Marc Chagall is a state museum at the foot of the Cimiez hill in Nice, opened in 1973 during the painter's lifetime. It was built to show his Biblical Message, seventeen large paintings on Genesis, Exodus and the Song of Songs; the building by André Hermant also holds a Chagall mosaic over a pool, his stained glass in the auditorium and a garden.
