O Grove Aquarium

O Grove Aquarium stands on Punta Moreiras, on the O Grove peninsula in the Rías Baixas; it was built in 1997 and reopened in 2011. A route through about two dozen tanks holding some 500,000 litres of water shows the marine life of the Galician coast, the Atlantic and tropical seas, including sharks, rays, turtles, octopuses and seahorses.
