Kirkjufell

Kirkjufell is a 463-metre mountain on the north coast of the Snæfellsnes peninsula, next to the town of Grundarfjörður. It is a nunatak of layered lava and sandstone with tuff at its summit, shaped by the Ice Age glaciers around it. The Kirkjufellsfoss waterfall lies across the road, and the mountain appeared in Game of Thrones.
