Hirakata Park

An amusement park in the city of Hirakata, between Osaka and Kyoto, run by a subsidiary of the Keihan railway beside Hirakata-kōen Station. It grew out of chrysanthemum-doll shows held here from 1912 and has some 40 rides on a hilly 16-hectare site, among them roller coasters and a large Ferris wheel, with a pool in summer and an ice rink in winter.
