Horseshoe Bend

Horseshoe Bend is a horseshoe-shaped meander of the Colorado River about 8 km downstream from the Glen Canyon Dam, south of Page. From a car park on US Route 89, a path of about 1.2 km leads to an overlook with a railing on the rim, some 300 metres above the river, where it loops almost completely around a sandstone spur.
