Lake Powell

Lake Powell is the reservoir formed on the Colorado River by the Glen Canyon Dam, filling from 1963 and stretching about 300 km into southern Utah. Its flooded side canyons and sandstone cliffs lie within Glen Canyon National Recreation Area. From Wahweap Marina near Page, boats, kayaks and houseboats go out on the water, and boat tours reach Rainbow Bridge.
