Champs-Élysées

The Champs-Élysées is an avenue running about 1.9 kilometres between Place de la Concorde and the Arc de Triomphe, lined with plane trees, shops, cinemas and cafés. Laid out as a garden promenade in the 17th century, it took its present form through 19th-century redevelopment.
