Musée du Chocolat

A private museum near Strasbourg-Saint-Denis, opened in 2010 on the site of a former nightclub, covering the history of chocolate from pre-Columbian Mesoamerica through its arrival in Europe to modern production. Exhibits include cacao vessels, Aztec and Mayan artefacts and chocolate-making tools, with a basement workshop offering live demonstrations.
