Veste Oberhaus
Veste Oberhaus is a hilltop fortress above Passau's old town, founded in 1219 by Prince-Bishop Ulrich II on a hill between the Danube and Ilz rivers. It now houses the Oberhausmuseum, covering the city's history and art, an 18th-century observation tower, and a youth hostel.
