Pescara Cathedral

Pescara Cathedral, dedicated to the city's patron Saint Cetteus, is the seat of the Archbishop of Pescara-Penne. The Romanesque Revival church was built in the 1930s on the site of a medieval church, with support from Gabriele D'Annunzio. It holds the tomb of his mother, Luisa De Benedictis, and a painting of Saint Francis attributed to Guercino.
