Roman City of Carnuntum

The Roman City of Carnuntum is an open-air museum in Petronell-Carnuntum on the site of the civilian town that was capital of the province of Pannonia Superior. Since 2006 a Roman city quarter has been rebuilt on its original foundations using ancient techniques, among them the House of Lucius, a villa and public baths, beside excavated walls and streets.
