Taliesin West

Taliesin West was Frank Lloyd Wright's winter home, studio and architecture school, built from 1937 by Wright and his apprentices in the foothills of the McDowell Mountains in Scottsdale, about 27 km north-east of downtown Phoenix. Its low buildings of desert stone set in concrete, under canvas and redwood roofs, are part of a World Heritage Site, seen on guided tours.
