Promthep Cape
Promthep Cape is the southernmost headland of Phuket island, about 2 km from Rawai Beach. A rocky point covered with sugar palms runs out into the Andaman Sea below a viewpoint used for watching the sunset, and the Kanchanaphisek Lighthouse, built in 1996 by the Thai Navy and the people of Phuket, stands nearby.
