Pittsburgh Botanic Garden

The Pittsburgh Botanic Garden lies in the hills near Oakdale, about 15 km west of downtown Pittsburgh, on land once mined for coal and since restored. Trails lead through woodlands, meadows and themed gardens, among them an Asian woodland with a lotus pond, and the garden hosts seasonal art exhibitions.
