About Pittsburgh
Pittsburgh lies where the Allegheny and Monongahela rivers meet to form the Ohio, a former steel city of bridges, hills and museums. Point State Park marks the meeting of the rivers below downtown, and the Duquesne and Monongahela Inclines climb Mount Washington opposite for views over the city. The Andy Warhol Museum, the Kamin Science Center and the National Aviary are on the North Side, while the Carnegie Museums of Art and Natural History, the Cathedral of Learning and Phipps Conservatory stand in Oakland. Two days cover the main sights; buses and the light rail link the districts.
