National Museum of Ras Al Khaimah

The National Museum of Ras Al Khaimah occupies the coral-stone fort of the ruling Al Qasimi family in the old town, their residence until 1964 and later a police headquarters and prison. Opened as a museum in 1987, it shows archaeological finds from the Stone Age to the Julfar period and displays on pearling, date farming and fishing.
