Quirinal Palace

The Quirinal Palace on the Quirinal Hill is the official residence of the President of the Italian Republic. Pope Gregory XIII began it in 1583 as a papal summer residence, and it later housed the kings of Italy; parts of the palace, including the state rooms and the Pauline Chapel, are shown on booked guided visits.
