Eibingen Abbey

Eibingen Abbey is an active Benedictine convent above Rüdesheim, founded by Hildegard of Bingen in 1165 and rebuilt in Neo-Romanesque style after reopening in 1904. The sisters keep the full daily office, tend the abbey's vineyard, and the twin-towered church hosts concerts during the Rheingau Musik Festival.
