Convent of Santa Clara
The Convent of Santa Clara is a convent of Poor Clares in Salamanca, founded in 1238 and largely rebuilt in the 16th century. The nuns left in 2019 and it is now a museum of medieval painting: walkways above the Baroque vaults of the church show the original painted Mudéjar timber ceilings, and the lower choir keeps medieval wall paintings.
