Teatro Victoria Eugenia

The Teatro Victoria Eugenia is San Sebastián's main theatre, designed by Francisco Urcola in a Spanish Renaissance revival style and opened on 20 July 1912 beside the mouth of the Urumea. From 1953 it was the home of the San Sebastián International Film Festival. After a refurbishment from 2001 to 2007 it stages theatre, dance and concerts.
