Archaeological Museum of Thera

The Archaeological Museum of Thera in Fira was built in 1960 to replace the older museum, which collapsed in the 1956 earthquakes. Its sculpture, inscriptions, vases and clay figurines, from the Geometric to the Roman period, come largely from the cemeteries of Ancient Thera. It reopened in June 2025.
