Cheonggyecheon
A 10.9-kilometre stream that runs west to east through central Seoul, restored between 2003 and 2005 after the elevated expressway built over it was torn down. Footpaths below street level follow the water from Cheonggye Plaza past stepping stones, fountains and a series of old and new bridges.
